Homework is any learning which a pupil undertakes out with classes. We believe that homework forms a vital part of the learning process and helps to:

• consolidate or extend learning
• develop independent learning and research skills
• creates motivated and reflective learners
• raises attainment
• involve parents and carers in the work being covered in school

We recognise the importance of an active partnership between home and school and homework is just one of the ways in which we seek to foster this partnership.
