Pupils and staff in Bo'ness Academy dressed as characters
from books as part of their celebration of World Book Day. Harry Potter
and Professor McGonagall were seen in the corridors along side Disney
characters, a geisha girl and large numbers of the Sleepover Club to name
but a few.
Throughout the day pupils also read extracts from books
and plays over the tannoy. Joanne Hamilton read from Dark Waters : Chloe
Findlay from Sounds of the River : Carlie Anne Chuchla from To a Mockingbird
: Chris Mulholland, Alasdair Robertson, Stevi McLintock, Rachel Dewar
and Blair McKenzie from Our Day Out : Holly Falkener from Millions and
Mark Neill from The Great Gatsby.
The winning characters were presented with certificates

1st place - Rachael Dickson as Minnie Mouse
2nd place - Cormac Murray as Death
3rd place - Chris Wheble as Bart Simpson and Spider Pig
Special awards were also given to Kerri Sives, Amy Aitken,
Hannah Rose, Bronwen Winter and Mrs Hume
