The Parent Council

What is the Parent Council about?

it represents the views of the Parent Forum (that is all Parents and Carers of pupils who attend the Academy) by acting as a consultation group between parents and the school's management team
it represents the views of parents with the Local Authority and the National Government in matter concerning your child's education
it is appointed by the Parent Forum (at it's AGM)
it meets regularly within the school
it consists of parent members, co-opted members and staff members
it offers another opportunity for parents / carers to become involved in their children's education
