Visit to Spain

Representatives from Italy, Czech Republic and Scotland met up with partners in Seville to share their versions of the final product for the Comenius project. It was an interesting experience for all involved as they enjoyed guided tours of the school which, allowed us to see both primary and secondary pupils in the same school. During our time there we enjoyed musical performances by students who were also extremely talented Flamenco dancers.


	Our hosts then took us for an awe inspiring tour of their beautiful city which included a televised meeting at the town hall with a very prestigious political figure.

Following our first meeting during which we discussed our fairytales before watching and listening to songs and dances from all countries. We attempted to learn an Italian dance with assistance from Marina, the Italian PE instructor. Our Spanish hosts then provided the venue for an international dinner which allowed the group to sample food and drinks from Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and Scotland.

Paella was top of the menu for lunch and everyone enjoyed this event.

The meetings concluded with agreed dates for future communications and a final aim for all to conclude the project.

Each group will provide a dramatisation of a fairytale from another country and learn the songs and dances from their selected country, once completed all files will be transferred into media format to form a video book of the tasks
