The event was hosted by pupils who displayed a range
of talents including presentation skills, cooking skills, singing skills,
Manderin speaking and even origami skills! Guests included a range of
parents, pupils and friends of those from S1 - S3 in addition to the
Director of Education and some of her colleagues from Education Services
who were more than willing to try their hand at origami. Mr Mitchell
also attended and was delighted to show off his chopstick skills with
a fun activity involving transferring Fair Trade chocolate raisins from
one bowl to another.
There were a range of displays on offer from:
Business Studies Dept : Travel information leaflets
& powerpoint presentations.
Art Dept : A range of artwork with a Chinese theme
& a slide show
Geography Dept : Worksheets & powerpoint tasks
relating to population in China etc
Modern Languages Dept :Responsible for decor and audience
participation of Mandarin phrases.
English Department : Media, prose & reviews, poetry,
research & Chinese writing.

magnificent Chinese food which was prepared and served by pupils to
guests at the event.
