Paris Fundraising

The School Band and Pipers are going on tour to Paris in July 2008. To help finance the trip several of the senior girls have organised fundraising events.

Band members went bag packing in Sainsburys in Linlithgow in Nov 07 and raised £800

Linzi along with several of her friends sold cakes one interval and raised a further £92

Linzi, Diane, Lauren, Claire, Natalie and Joanne sold cakes donated by parents and friends of the band at a recent parent's night and at the careers convention. They also organised a "chocolate" quiz where all the answers to the cryptic clues were chocolate bars.

Mrs Henderson collects the first prize in the chocolate quiz on behalf of Chrissie Rooney.

Mr Johnston of the PE Dept helped the winner get all the right answers and was rewarded with an Easter Egg from the hamper

A Dress Down Day was held on the last day of the Easter term and this raised over £350 for the trip

In total the girls so far have raised over £850 towards the trip.
