golf success Congratulations to Campbell Meikle who won the Junior Handicap Golf Championship in his first competitive season

Congratulations to Daniel Hall, S3 who competed in an International Football Tournament in Holland during the Easter holidays with Ineos Under 15's.

He was the top scorer in the tournament with 9 goals and the team finished 3rd overall

There were teams from Holland, Germany, Spain and Scotland

Daniel currently trains 3 times a week

Congratulations to Jocelyn Cowie who won 3 medals at the Falkirk Swimming Championships - gold in backstroke, silver in freestyle and silver in medley relay. Her team mates in the medley relay who also got silver medals were Eloise Euston, Hannah Shaw and Kirsty Shaw

Robyn receives her prize

Each year Mr Watson holds a "Guess the number of Stamps" competition for Children in Need

This year's winner was Robyn Howie seen here collecting her prize from Mr Watson.

The correct answer was 712 and Robyn guessed 710

 

T-Funk is a small t-shirt designing business, run in Bo'ness Academy, by four fourth year pupils. It all started off at a Common Purpose meeting arranged by the school. We were meant to do something that will change our in some way or another. Nearly all the schools there decided to create clubs for pupils, so we came up with something different, a t-shirt creating company

Martyn Couser gained the Silver Medal at the British Judo Association Championships in Birmingham. artyn competed in the under 70kg class special needs

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

During the summer Bo'ness Academy was represented at a camp for 30 youngsters from across the UK by Heather Fulton, Shereen Hozain and Rowena Wright. This was the highest representation from any individual school. Marc Leishman who has now left school also attended the camp.
