Halloween
in the English Department
 October
31st was Halloween but was also National Storytelling day
Pupils brought in various items relating to Halloween
and told a story to their classmates. In addition they had a Halloween
project to do for homework.
Calli Howett's was voted the best in class
by Qingli our visiting teacher from China. Calli received some Halloween
treats and a certificate for her efforts whilst Greg Snedden and Erin
Smith were both given Halloween lucky bags and certificates for their
projects.
The Pupil Support Department have spent a substantial
amount of money to provide wireless laptops for use in class. S1 pupils
made Halloween posters using these laptops to go with the scary stories
they told in class.
