Anti-bullying Policy - Information for Parents : Information for Pupils

The new anti-bullying policy, Dare2Care was launched on Friday 6th June when a series of events took place in school to encourage pupils to see that by working together and encouraging eachother that excellent results can be achieved. In the morning there was a quiz and games.

 

In the afternoon there was a Strictly Come Dancing session - staff have been put through their paces by Mr Mitchell, a dance competition for pupils, an army assault course and a 5 a side football competition.

The Dare2Care workgroup has been looking at the following areas :

1. Reporting, recording and monitoring process
2. Re-writing the policy
3. Marketing the policy
4. School ethos (which also ties in with the resilience and well being project)

It was decided that as bullying is such a diverse topic and very hard to put an exact definition to, that the Bo'ness Academy definition would be :
