It's Ramsey, Provans . . . but not together, McAlpine, Dougan and Morrison
to name but a few.
After intense preparation and practice seven very game couples will
spin and slide through the Waltz and Cha Cha in a competition before
an audience of pupils.
A team of judges will cast their professional eye over the contestants
and award points for performance.
This event is just part of an afternoon of activities
linked to the launch of our new Anti-Bullying Policy.
So what’s the connection. It is about ethos, and the health and
welfare of all in our school community including our staff. This is
just one way in which we can encourage good relations between staff
and between staff and pupils.
Our dancers, as well as performing the Waltz and Cha
Cha, have also been learning the Quickstep and Jive. Hopefully this
will not be just a one of, but stars of the future will emerge. At least
they all deserve full marks for effort, commitment and for bringing
a smile to us all.
