Homework and links to helpful websites
Each department has a clear homework policy and these form part of the
whole school policy.
The basic principles are
- We believe that homework is useful training for study
- We believe that homework can allow for practice of skills out with
the classroom
- We try to tailor homework to the individual’s needs and ability
- We encourage return of homework on time
- We communicate with parents if there is a problem with homework
- If parents insist that a child should not do homework we will accept
that decision but make it clear that this will considerably reduce
the chances of success in the course

Study
skills for dyslexic students - a multi-sensory, interactive site to
help dyslexic students with reading, writing and referencing. Although
designed for students in higher education it is also suitable for more
able 5th /6th year students with dyslexia/writing problems
